Day 4

Write a Promotional Email Series That Makes Sales

Create a full 3–5 email promotional series that sells either your product or an affiliate offer—using real stories, clear pain points, and strategic calls to action. But don’t move past the first email until you’re happy with how it sounds and sells.

Task Prompt for today:

Act like a senior email copywriter. I want to write a story-driven promotional email series to sell [INSERT PRODUCT OR AFFILIATE OFFER].
Before you write, ask me the following:
1. Is this your product or an affiliate offer?
2. What is the core promise of the offer?
3. What pain point(s) does this solve for the buyer?
4. Who is the ideal customer?
5. Do you have a sales page link or product access I can review to better understand the content and angle?
6. Is there any scarcity or reason to act now? (Bonuses, deadlines, limited spots, etc.)
7. Do you have a personal story or idea that could tie into this offer?
8. Should I use your standard persona voice to write these emails?

Once I answer, write only the first email in a promotional series.
Email #1 should:
– Be at least 500 words
– Start with a real story, strong hook, or opinion
– Highlight a clear pain point your reader will relate to
– Naturally introduce the offer without hype
– Include a clear CTA (click to learn more, grab the offer, etc.)
– Provide a subject line and preview text

After I’ve reviewed and approved email #1, then write the remaining 2–4 emails in the series. Each email should:
– Be story-driven or situational (no generic filler)
– Focus on one problem, belief shift, or benefit
– Build urgency toward the end of the sequence
– Vary the angle so the emails don’t sound repetitive
– Include subject lines, preview text, and a strong CTA

Final Prompt: Bundle all of the emails into a TXT File or Word Document. Include all of the emails exactly how I approved and locked them. Do not deviate from what I approved.
