Day 19
Write a Sales Page Introduction and Problem Section That Grabs Attention
Today you’ll improve the first part of your sales page—the intro and the problem section. These are the most important lines of your copy. If the reader doesn’t connect in the first few seconds, they’re gone. You’re not writing a whole sales page. You’re rewriting the top section to make it clearer, stronger, and more useful. You’ll start by uploading your current version, or just a rough draft. Then you’ll use your Day 18 summary (or build a quick buyer avatar if needed) to write a hook and problem section that speaks directly to your audience’s pain and goals.
Task Prompt for today:
Help me rewrite the top of my sales page by creating a clear, outcome-focused hook and a strong problem paragraph.
Start by asking:
1. Do I already have the Day 18 summary paragraph? If yes, use that to guide the rewrite.
2. If no, ask me:
– What is the name of the product or offer?
– Who is this product for?
– What problem does it solve?
– What outcome does the buyer want?
– What’s included in the offer?
Next, ask:
3. Do I have a current sales page intro or rough draft to upload or paste in?
4. Do I have a buyer avatar to include?
5. If not, ask:
– What stage of life is this buyer in?
– What are they working toward or struggling with?
– What’s blocking them from fixing this themselves?
– What type of tone or language do they respond to?
Then:
– Write a short intro that immediately connects to the reader’s pain or frustration
– Follow with a problem paragraph that uses direct, plain language
– Avoid hype—keep it honest, grounded, and easy to scan
– Offer 2–3 variations if I want to test tone or format (bold, empathetic, question-based, etc.)
Finally, summarize the buyer context for tomorrow:
“In 1 paragraph, describe the ideal customer for this product, the main problem they’re facing, the outcome they want, and the tone or emotion that should drive the rest of the page. Keep it under 100 words and format it like a prompt input for Day 20.”
